Why is great leadership training important? We have a passion for developing leaders so we have developed two bespoke Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) leadership qualifications centred on the human relationship that exists between a leader and their people.
Engagement is not a tangible thing. It comes from ensuring people feel coached, supported, listened to, empowered and that they are contributing to something bigger than themselves. Leaders play an integral role in creating this feeling.
By 2025 millennials (the generation born between 1980 and 2000) will make up 75% of the world’s working population. While it is important not to generalise too much, millennials as a whole do possess characteristics and motivations that differ significantly from earlier generations in regards to the workplace. To get the best from their millennial employees, leaders must understand this and adapt their management style accordingly.
50% of employers saw a return on their investment with ILM within 3 months*.
Who is it for? We have been so committed to developing leadership success within our Group that we have designed our own 12-month ILM accredited programme. Our ILM qualifications will suit any individual or team in a leadership role – regardless of whether they manage one person or hundreds.
We offer two ILM qualifications:
• Our ILM level 3 qualification is suited to those with little or no management experience, or who want to refresh their knowledge and become familiar with the latest thinking on leadership.
• Our ILM level 5 qualification is is suited to more experienced leaders such as project managers, department heads, and other practising middle managers who are looking for higher-level learning and qualification.
How does it work? Our training will allow you to understand your management style, develop other management styles that will enable you to adapt to the needs of your people, and be the foundation on which you build and engaging culture.
It is available as a series of workshops over a 12-month period, which can be delivered at our business location or in our training facility in Taunton, or made available via distance learning.
